General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Introduction

Before making any purchase of passes or extras on our ticketing platforms, we recommend that you carefully read these General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC). They apply to all events organized by the association. Union Conventions.

The General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) apply immediately upon your purchase on our ticketing platforms.

Pass

The purchase of a pass is mandatory in order to access Union Conventions events (hereinafter referred to as “the association”). Without the purchase of a pass, you will be denied access to the events, with no possibility of a refund.

To purchase a pass, please go to the ticketing platform of the event of your choice. It is essential that you review the description of the different passes to understand what each includes. The ticketing link will be shared multiple times on Union Conventions’ social media channels.

Upon purchasing your pass, you will receive a confirmation email from the ticketing platform, including your e-ticket. This e-ticket must be presented on the day of the event.

Passes are personal and non-transferable and may not be resold or assigned to another person without prior approval from Union Conventions. In the absence of such approval, access to the event may be denied without refund.

In the event of an error when filling out the contact details form, please contact Union Conventions as soon as possible. It is possible to purchase a pass for another person by directly entering the beneficiary’s details.

Pass prices cannot be increased once they have been announced. However, they may vary from one event to another. The same applies to extras.

Extras

To purchase an extra, please go to the Union Conventions ticketing platform. The purchase of a pass is mandatory in order to buy and benefit from extras.

Without a valid pass, access to the event as well as to extras will be denied, with no possibility of a refund. Union Conventions declines all responsibility in the event that an extra is not delivered if the participant fails to present themselves at the scheduled time.

Several reminders will be made on stage and on screen to indicate activity time slots.

The resale of extras is strictly prohibited. Any person found reselling an extra may be denied access to the event. It is possible to purchase extras for another person by entering the beneficiary’s details.

An extra can be, for example, a photo with a guest, their autograph, or a meeting. You can get them through our online ticketing, available on the event pages and shared on our social media.

Be careful: once again, purchasing an extra alone is not enough to gain entry to the event !

Autographs

All materials are allowed except in the following cases:

  • the material is disrespectful toward the actor or actress;

  • Union Conventions receives instructions from the actors and/or their agents prohibiting certain materials.

In such cases, participants will be informed as soon as possible. Official materials, approved by the actors and their agents, will be available for purchase at the event stand.

The event

A few days before the event, Union Conventions will share organizational information on its social media channels.

To collect your pass and extras, you will need to present a valid form of identification as well as your e-tickets received by email at the time of purchase.

Minors aged 16 and over may attend the events with a signed parental authorization and a copy of the legal guardian’s identity document. Minors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult holding a valid pass.

The event takes place according to a pre-established schedule. Access to queues and activities is subject to the presentation of a pass and the corresponding extras. Participants must respect the announced time slots and assigned groups.

In the event of absence during your scheduled activity slot, no make-up session or refund can be guaranteed. The association is not responsible for participants’ delays.

When collecting passes and extras, a wristband and/or lanyard will be issued and must be worn and kept for the entire duration of the event. Staff may request to see it at any time.

The event venue may be subject to change. Any modification will be communicated as soon as possible. No reimbursement of additional costs will be made.

Union Conventions cannot be held responsible for the outcome of photographs (closed eyes, facial expressions, etc.). Only blurry or poorly framed photos may be subject to an exceptional request.

Ticketing and payment terms and conditions

The ticketing link is shared on Union Conventions’ social media channels and website. As multiple events may be organized simultaneously, no purchasing error will be eligible for a refund.

Installment payments for the most expensive pass of each event may be granted upon request via email. A payment schedule will be provided. In the event of non-compliance with the deadlines, the purchase will be cancelled without refund.

The pass and assigned numbered seat will only be allocated once full payment has been completed.

The applicable General Terms and Conditions of Sale are those in force at the time of purchase. The association reserves the right to modify them at any time.

Refunds

Guest cancellation

A guest may cancel their attendance at any time. The association undertakes to provide a replacement. Extras will be transferred or refunded if no other guest is suitable for the participant.

Event cancellation

In the event of a full cancellation of the event by the association, passes and extras will be fully refunded. The refund procedures will be communicated via social media channels.

Date change

In the event of a change of date, purchases will be transferred. If the participant is unable to attend the new date, a refund will be issued, excluding ticketing fees.

No refund for passes will be granted in the event of a guest cancellation alone.

Pursuant to Article L 121-20-4 of the French Consumer Code, tickets are not subject to a right of withdrawal.

Contexte sanitaire et COVID-19

Tout ou partie de l’événement peut être annulé en raison de la situation sanitaire. Les modalités de remboursement seront celles décrites dans la section correspondante.

Les documents sanitaires requis devront être présentés. L’absence de documents valides entraînera un refus d’accès sans remboursement.

2 – Credits for extras of your choice.
If a guest cancels, only the extras are refunded. A guest’s cancellation does not mean the event is canceled, so no pass refund is possible for this reason.
Union Conventions will specify a deadline to request refunds for extras. If this deadline is not met, the refund will be denied.

Photos, videos, and image rights

Videos are strictly prohibited during the event. The rules regarding photography vary depending on the activities and must be respected.

By attending the event, you agree to be photographed or filmed. You may exercise your image rights by contacting the association.

Personal responsibility and compliance

Union Conventions declines all responsibility in the event of loss or theft of personal belongings. Any person disrupting the smooth running of the event may be excluded without refund.

It is not possible to collect a pass on behalf of a friend.

Online events

The terms and conditions of virtual events are specified in the official announcements. The association cannot be held responsible for participants’ connection issues.

Online event rules

Virtual events take place on Zoom. Participants must log in 10 minutes before their scheduled slot and use the same first and last name as provided at the time of purchase.

It is strictly forbidden to record or take photos of virtual sessions. Any violation will result in immediate exclusion without refund.

Additional rules may be added depending on the specific conditions of the events and guests.
